What if women were the dominant gender? What if women were given the responsibility to earn money and men were given the household duty? Well, when you think about it, you will realize that most of the things will be the same, but the changes would be huge. For example, if we were the dominant gender, then maybe girls will have the aura of working around her as she has to be the one who may be the sole one to earn in the future. Also, girls won't be sent off after marriage, it would be boys who would be sent off. But if you think about it, then you will also notice that discrimination will not be eliminated either. People will be discriminated against. If boys won't be given the upper hand, then girls will. The thing is that being the dominant gender doesn't cover the fact that the other gender would be living in its shadow. What would generally happen is that the men will still be competing women and will still be given the hard labour. The only difference will be that...

Social dynamics is a term stemmed from the idea of the change in the behaviour of an individual due the influence of those around him in a group. The key point to take away from this topic is that it is truly a dynamic, meaning it’s active and changes with the environment that we place ourselves in. For example, I will act differently when I am out hanging out with my friends on a day compared to how I would act with my parents and their friends on the same day.   These are two completely different groups of individuals that I would have to change my communication skills for depending on the situation.     Understanding social dynamics is extremely important in our daily lives, especially if we are constantly in communication with others for career purposes, other professional settings, and even interviews!  It will be essential to take social dynamics into considera...
                         # G OING VOCAL FOR LOCAL# 'Local things must be unbranded cause they are meant to be', these are usually the things we mostly hear from the people around us, don't we? Well, what exactly is a brand? According to me and our Civics book, it is just a name given to specify our products different from others, or unique to be exact. Putting it apart, being in a lock down for about 3 to 4 months has been difficult for big business families, but what about others? What about the people with small businesses, or about the ones who just started their business while the lock down struck, big deal, huh? We people think that imported stuff is the best, but how do we know that for sure? Isn't it because of the marketing and advertising which follows? How do we know that the local stuff is not equally good, or better? I say that we should promote local manufacturing. Should we forget that about 60% of India ...
SIBLING STRUGGLES  We all know what it is like to have a sibling. Well, it is like a love-hate relationship.  Believe me, we can't even imagine how would it have been like without our sibling during  this lock down. Only the one without a sibling can tell us that! Sometimes, actually most of the time, they get to our nerves. It is well said that the other side of the grass always looks greener and TBH, I can totally relate myself to it. Though I have a twin, I always wanted an elder brother, whereas the ones with an elder brother want a twin. I admit that having a twin is very lucky as we can talk and play together, which we cannot do as freely with an elder brother that freely(no offence). According to me, there is always a twin who is the follower of the other twin in choosing things, though they never admit it. Well, apart from it, being with our sibling 24 hours a day for over 40 days has turne...
MY DAYS IN CONTINUING                                            LOCK DOWN It all started when it was the second day of my eighth grade. There was a sort of commotion all over. When we were still in our yoga class, our yoga teacher announced that our school will be closed from tomorrow. While some children were sad (including me) some were extremely happy on the thought of no school. Some nonconformist children were fitful on their behaviour. We were supposed to take all our books and copies, but as we weren't informed abot online assignments, I decided not to take my copies along with me. It was a heavy load on our backs.                             We returned home after such a gruelling day and told our mom the NEWS. It was clear that it wa...
